A conditionally immortalized oligodendrocyte precursor cell line is required to advance research into therapies for multiple sclerosis (MS).
This is a Theoretical Challenge which requires a written proposal only. Awards will be made at the discretion of the Seeker after theoretical evaluation of the submissions. The Seeker retains the right to make partial awards should the awarded solution not meet all the Technical Requirements or Project Criteria. The Seeker wishes to engage successful Solvers to implement winning submissions and deliver cell lines in a second phase of this Challenge.

Challenge Overview
A well reasoned plan for development of a physiologically & functionally relevant oligodendrocyte precursor cell line is required. The resulting cell line should remain in an undifferentiated state during proliferative cell culture in the presence of serum & absence of growth factors. The cell line should also show the expected differentiation in response to the stimuli listed in the Challenge Technical Requirements.
The Seeker wishes to engage winning Solvers to implement successful plans and ultimately deliver a validated cell line.
